At In-Cider Orchard we strive to provide the highest quality cider apples. Our apples are not grown using techniques and chemical treatments used by apple orchards producing grocery store quality fruit. Though lots of our apples easily make grocery store standards. Growing apples primarily for hard cider can result in blemishes, pits, insect damage and minor bruises. In addition some cider apple varieties naturally contain defects and russeting that cause them to appear ugly to the novice, but the cider maker sees what's underneath, pure gold. The photo above gives you a good idea of the varied nature of the external appearance of cider apples. Don't be afraid of any variety's outward appearance, it's what's inside that counts.
Apple orders can be placed at any time during the year. Orders will be filled on first come, first served basis. All varieties have limited production, but some varieties will be in shorter supply than others due to many factors. We therefore encourage you to place orders early to secure your portion of the harvest. If your order cannot be filled due to a shortage, 100% of your money will be refunded to you.

Apple sales have concluded for the 2024 Harvest. All production from all varieties has been purchased.
For those with 2024 orders, apple pickup will occur between mid-September to early November 2024.
Cider apples are generally in short supply, we encourage everyone to place orders early for the 2025 crop.
We anticipate opening the apple order window for the 2025 harvest on or about January 1, 2025.
All apples are sold by the pound, prices shown are per pound. If you enter 10 for the quantity you are purchasing 10 lbs at the per pound price shown.
Apple Pick-Up:
We encourage everyone purchasing apples to pick up orders at the orchard. This is the best way to ensure that you are receiving the highest quality apples. Once harvested, all our apples are stored in our on-site cooler building, so there is time to pick them up. Some varieties do not keep well in storage, so if you order multiple varieties a second trip may be necessary. When individual varieties are harvested we will send you an email to let you know what is available for pick-up. Picking up your order provides a great opportunity to bring the entire family and take a tour of the orchard.
A note about shipping:
At In-Cider Orchard we will ship your apples directly to you using UPS, however; we do not recommend this option due to several factors, the cost is very high and product damage can be significant. Depending on your location, shipping costs will start at about $1.50 per pound and increase with distance. Transporting apples using commercial carriers generally results in rough handling that can cause significant damage to the fruit. If you would like your order shipped please email us at [email protected].
