Very large fruited green-yellow skinned apple, the greenish yellow flesh is firm, juicy and mildly tart. The cider from Northwest Greening has a lite green apple aroma with a very well balanced acidity. The flavor is moderately sweet with mild green apple and a note of pine. This variety makes an excellent lite and refreshing fresh drinking cider, but can be incorporated into the blend for almost any hard cider. Late ripening in mid-October and stores very well for several months.
